CNF tancredo never international airport rockwell collins technology passenger check inTancredo Neves International (CNF), one of Brazil’s biggest airports, is to use a new passenger processing solution created by technology company Rockwell Collins.

ARINIC vMUSE claims to provide a more efficient and cost-effective check-in for travelers. This is achieved by giving airports more flexibility to focus on just one suite of check-in applications, therefore eliminating software engineering and development costs.

BH Airport, which manages CNF, will also install Rockwell Collins’s ARINC SelfServ common-use self-service kiosks to enhance passengers flow, and the ARINC AviNet network and message solution to provide a secure, fast and efficient way to communicate flight operation, aircraft maintenance and other important messages that have a direct impact on airport operational efficiency.

Adriano Pinho, infrastructure director at BH Airport, commented, “CNF, one of the main hubs in Brazil, is experiencing rapid passenger growth.

“We want to be a new gateway to enter Brazil and Rockwell Collins’s ARINC airport solutions are enabling us to provide services that allow us to cost-effectively handle the increase in passengers as we grow.”
