Little Rock airport unveils new logo and technology

The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arizona, has officially unveiled its new logo and technology upgrades at a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday (24 July), KATV has reported.

The airport has introduced a new video wall displaying local information to arriving passengers as well as a new digital service centre in the baggage claim area which features touch-screen kiosks to help visitors navigate information on local hotels, restaurants, and attractions.

According to KATV, the airport will also be featured on the "Fly Smart" mobile app that provides passengers with gate information, ground transportation options and flight status. The app is free for iPhones, Androids and BlackBerries.

These upgrades are a part of the US$67 million (£43 million) terminal expansion project, KATV reported.
