T1 food and retail offering to be revitalized at Hong Kong International

Airport operator Airport Authority Hong Kong has announced that more than 20 new retail outlets and 10 new dining options will be added to the West Hall of Terminal 1 (T1) at Hong Kong International Airport. The new offerings will be opened in phases from the end of 2015, transforming the airport’s West Hall.

The restaurants will be opened in the West Hall’s new 16,114ft² East to West Food Market and will include international brands such as Mövenpick Ice Cream, Burger King and O’Leary’s Bar and Restaurant, as well as local and regional brands such as Yung Kee Restaurant, Street Food MIC by Alvin Leung, Baikohken, School Food, OldTown White Coffee and Tai Hing Express. The new T1 West Hall retail offerings will include major brands in fashion, watches, packaged food, travel accessories, electronics, toys, gifts and souvenirs.

Cissy Chan, executive director, commercial, Airport Authority Hong Kong, said, “With the new East to West Food Market and a wide range of exciting retail brands, the West Hall, which complements the offerings available in the East Hall of T1, provides another one-stop shopping and dining zone in a key nodal area of Hong Kong International Airport.”
